After baggage and check-in procedures at the Istanbul Airport International Departures terminal, departure for Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, with Turkish Airlines flight TK340 at 12:05. Arrival in Baku at 15:50 local time.

Upon arrival, we start our first introduction to the city with a panoramic Baku city tour by private bus waiting for us at the airport. The main highlights to be discovered panoramically:

  • The dazzling Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center with its modern architecture
  • Venice Park with its tranquil atmosphere
  • Baku Boulevard stretching along the coast
  • The impressive Flame Towers
  • The meaningful Turkish Martyrs' Memorial

After the tour, transfer to our hotel. After settling into our rooms, free time. Overnight at our hotel.

We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. We meet in the lobby at the time provided by our guide. After meeting, we depart for the lunch-included "Absheron Peninsula & Ateshgah & Yanardag & Shopping Tour".

Our first stop is the Ateshgah Temple, regarded as a sacred center of Zoroastrianism. Known for the legend of the "Eternal Flame", this special place still retains its mystical atmosphere from the past.

Next, we visit Yanardag, one of nature's extraordinary wonders. This region, where natural gas coming from underground has been burning for centuries without going out, is one of the symbols of Azerbaijan, described by Marco Polo as the "Land of Fire".

After returning to Baku, we have lunch at a designated restaurant, and in the final part of the day, we head to Port Baku / Crescent Mall for shopping. Stores of world-famous brands, modern restaurants, and a pleasant atmosphere await you here. You will have free time for shopping and relaxation.

We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. We meet in the lobby at the time provided by our guide. After meeting, we will have the "Gobustan & Mud Volcanoes and Heydar Aliyev Museum Tour".

The first stop of our tour is Gobustan, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List and bearing traces of prehistoric times. This region, an open-air museum on the shores of the Caspian Sea, sheds light on history with its rock carvings and inscribed stones.

Afterwards, we closely observe the Mud Volcanoes, found only in certain regions of the world and abundantly in Azerbaijan. The vivid geological activities of this unique natural event will fascinate you.

In the afternoon, we return to Baku and visit the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, the architectural masterpiece of modern Azerbaijan. Designed by world-renowned Zaha Hadid, this iconic structure draws attention with both its exterior and its exhibitions. In addition to personal belongings of Heydar Aliyev, the center also features ethnographic and archaeological collections.

After the tour, return to the hotel.

Optional: In the evening, for those who wish, our guide will organize the "Azerbaijani Night with Dinner" (80 EUR per person). In this enjoyable evening where we will experience local flavors and Azerbaijani culture accompanied by traditional music, you will have an unforgettable memory from your trip.

After breakfast at the hotel, check-out and vacating the rooms. Meeting in the lobby at the time provided by our guide and then starting the "Baku Old Town & Surahani Ship Museum Tour".

Our first stop in this tour will be the Surahani tanker, which played a significant role in Azerbaijan's maritime oil transportation history and was converted into a museum with comprehensive maintenance and repairs in 2017. Various innovative solutions were implemented in the 123.5-meter-long and 4,696-ton Surakhani tanker museum halls. Here is what you can learn:

  • The history of the Caspian Sea
  • Oil production in Absheron
  • The development of maritime transport
  • Ships and maritime giants considered among the world's firsts
  • Navigational facilities, an indispensable part of seafaring
  • Maritime knots with a history of nearly 5,000 years

After our museum visit, we take a journey among the stone streets of Icheri Sheher (Old City), steeped in history, to closely see the following landmarks:

  • Shirvanshah Palace

  • Historical baths

Finally, you will have free time on Nizami Street, one of Baku's liveliest spots, formerly known as Targovi and reminiscent of Istanbul's Istiklal Street.

After free time, we meet again at the time announced by our guide and head to Baku Heydar Aliyev Airport. Upon arrival at the airport, we complete our passport and luggage procedures and depart for Istanbul with Turkish Airlines flight TK335 at 20:50. Arrival in Istanbul at 23:05 local time and end of the tour.

  • Personal Expenses and Hotel Extras: The cost of minibar products consumed in the hotel room, laundry services, room service, and other similar personal expenses, as well as extra services offered within the hotel, are the responsibility of the participant.
  • Lunches and Dinners: All lunches and dinners not specifically mentioned in the program are not included in the price. Only the lunch during the Absheron Peninsula tour on the 2nd day is included; meals on other days must be covered by the participants.
  • Beverages During Meal Tours: Beverages are not included in the meal tours specified in the program. The cost of beverages consumed during the meal will be paid by the participant.
  • International Departure Fee: The international departure fee, which must be paid when leaving Turkey, is not included in the price. This fee can be paid at relevant banks or the finance counters at the airport.
  • Domestic Connecting Flights: Domestic flight tickets used by participants to reach Istanbul Airport are not included in the package and must be arranged separately.
  • Travel Insurance Package: Comprehensive travel insurance (including cancellation coverage, health insurance, etc.) other than mandatory professional liability insurance is not included in the price and can be purchased optionally.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The flight times specified in the program are obtained from the relevant airline, and our agency is not responsible for changes in flight times. If any changes occur in flight times, the program may be revised accordingly.

First name, surname, and date of birth information provided at the time of reservation must be complete and correct as stated in the passport. No name confirmation will be made afterwards.

Hotel vouchers and flight tickets will be sent to you three days prior to the tour departure date.

Due to weather conditions, changes may be made to optional tours. In such cases, the right to make necessary arrangements is reserved.

All participants are responsible for carrying their round-trip flight tickets and hotel accommodation documents with them. Guests who do not have a ticket printout are responsible for their own entry into the country.

Participants are advised to activate their mobile phones for international use.

ACCOMMODATION AND ROOM ARRANGEMENTS

Hotel check-in times are between 15:00–17:00 and check-out times are between 10:00–12:00. Triple rooms can be provided depending on hotel availability, and the third bed may be smaller than the standard bed. These rooms, usually arranged as 1 double bed + 1 extra bed, have additional beds that are portable and foldable. This arrangement is considered accepted by the participant.

In some hotels, twin beds may be provided. Requests for room type changes during hotel stays are at the hotel's discretion.

Child discounts are valid only for one child who meets the age criteria and stays in the same room as two adults. If more than one hotel alternative is offered in the same destination and/or only the hotel category is specified, the hotels to be used will be notified to you 48 hours before the tour departure date. Changes in hotels may occur due to high occupancy; however, the hotel category will not change.

TOURS AND EXCURSIONS

The panoramic city tours specified in the program are introductory tours conducted from inside the vehicle with guide commentary and last about 2–3 hours. These tours do not include museum and site entrance fees.

Tours may be cancelled or their content changed due to restrictions imposed by local authorities, road closures, or adverse weather conditions. In such cases, no responsibility is accepted. If necessary, tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot.

OTHER ISSUES

For promotional and early booking campaign tours, cancellations or changes are not allowed. Intermediary services are provided between the airline and the passenger and are subject to the Hague Protocol dated 28.09.1955. Delays and time changes may occur in scheduled or charter flights; these are deemed accepted in advance by the participants. Children aged 0–2 are not required to pay airport tax and service fees.

VISA AND PASSPORT INFORMATION

Visas are not required for Turkish citizens for travels to Azerbaijan. Turkish citizens can enter Azerbaijan with a passport or new type chipped Turkish ID card.

Participants traveling with a passport are advised to ensure that their passports are valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel. The decision to allow entry into the country during passport or ID control rests with the border police.

No responsibility is accepted for problems arising from worn, wet, or damaged passports or ID cards. Documents must be in proper condition.

Participants under 18 traveling alone or with only one parent are required to have a notarized letter of consent. Without this document, problems may arise when entering or leaving the country.

TOUR PARTICIPATION CONDITION

The tour program is organized based on a minimum participation requirement. In case of insufficient participation, cancellation information will be notified to you via your agency no later than 20 days before the departure date.
